What Davis County homes usually need

Bountiful, Centerville and the older parts of Layton and Clearfield have many homes from the 1960s and 1970s. Some of those kitchens have original solid-wood cabinets worth keeping. If your home is pre-1978 and the cabinets were painted long ago, ask about lead-safe handling.

Kaysville, Layton and Fruit Heights have a lot of 1980s and 1990s construction, so oak cabinets are common. Painting them white, greige, sage or navy is a popular update.

Syracuse, Farmington, West Point and Clinton have grown fast since 2000. In those homes the cabinets are usually newer, and owners often want a different color more than a repair.
